The Citiplace redevelopment vision is to create an unforgettable arrival experience for visitors/tourists to showcase Perth's offerings and provide a front door into Perth's Cultural Precinct and Retail Core. Citiplace is adjacent to Perth's Central Train Station and bisected by the main pedestrian corridor (refer to Project 2).

The Citiplace redevelopment will also be integrated/connected with the future redevelopment of the Perth Central Train Station, Yagan Square, ECU Uni, WA Square (capped rail line), and Perth World Trade Centre to become Perth's version of 'Federation Square.'

The Citiplace redevelopment will incorporate City-based Airport related services, including passage check-in/storage, facilities, business lounges, accommodation pods, visitors centre, car transfer and hire, intermodal transport options, micro-mobility, end-of-trip services, F&B, Entertainment, Experiential VR Domes (Australian Biome), Duty-Free,  tourist information, translation and concierge services, and Western Australian based products, crafts and artworks.
