The Burswood Park Crystal Lagoon is intended to showcase Perth, particularly its Indigenous design/culture, native landscape, sustainable design, local produce/craft and local performers, creating a truly immersive experience. All structures, landscaping, signage, interior design, artworks, retailing, tours and lighting are designed to embody/reflect Whadjuk Noongar culture, traditions and connection to the Swan River.
The Burswood Crystal Lagoon incorporates Australia's first Indigenous-inspired hotel adjacent to the Lagoon providing an immersive experience for both guests and tourists. The Lagoon will be a catalyst to facilitate the future redevelopment of the three car parking sites surrounding the iconic Burswood Casino to create Perth's premier waterfront lifestyle designation.
The Lagoon project seeks to activate Perth's waterfront and transform the Burswood Penisualr into Perth's premier tourism designation in the heart of the City.
