Architectus 32°S, 116°E: A Vision for Perth is reimaging Perth's central rail corridor between the RAC Arena and the existing Swan River Rail Bridge that severs the City Centre. This portion of railways reserved land occupies approximately 20 ha of and is the central spine and strategically located for Transport Oriental Development and restitching the divided City together. Refer to the Facebook Concept Video Link https://fb.watch/7CJBdEfGUh/.
Architectus proposes creating six new Precincts within the reimaged rail corridor, focusing on Entertainment, Education, Transport Hub, Culture, Health/Wellness and New Sustainable Energy. Refer to Architectus Project Link 32°S, 116°E: a future vision for Perth | Architectus
Landcorp's City Link (Perth City Link - Overview - DevelopmentWA - Shaping our State's future) was the first phase in reconnecting Perth City Centre. Architectus's vision is to expand this transformation over the balance Perth rail corridor to reconnect the City Centre truly. This initiative would facilitate the creation of a significant number of new businesses within the heart of the City Centre and a green, pedestrian-friendly spine to transform Perth into a walkable City.
