NORTHPORT QUAY WATERFRONT, WA

NORTHPORT QUAY SYNDICATE (16 BILLION AUD)

Description

North Port Quay is a visionary project intended to be the world’s first wholly energy/water self-sufficient, carbon-free development and one of the most significant marina developments in the southern hemisphere. North Port Quay is intended to be powered by wind, wave solar and geothermal energy. Water will be harvested from rain tanks, recycled black and grey water and desalination methods (CETO Wave Farm) https://youtu.be/Z9QYUBtXseg.

The development is proposed to be built on a reclaimed seabed adjacent to the existing Fremantle Port. The 345-ha port city would include 10,000 dwellings, 2,200 boat moorings, commercial, retail and entertainment precincts,  two schools, a performing arts centre, a convention centre, an offshore artificial surf break, and extensive public amenities.

Northport Quay seeks to be the world's first self-sustaining waterfront city generating all its energy through a combination of wind, wave, geothermal and solar power technologies with water supplied via CETO wave-powered desalination and water-recycling plants.
