The Mina Rashid Project (https://youtu.be/nCFRZXRNklE) will transform the existing Mina Rashid Portland, located adjacent to Dubai Creek, a luxury mixed-use waterfront estate, accommodating up to 200,000 residents (https://youtu.be/E7JXg5k930c).

The total land area of the project is expected to be about 730 hectares, with 540 hectares being reclaimed. The former Port Rashid facilities will be retained and redeveloped as a cultural and heritage centre in tribute to His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the father of modern-day Dubai.

The Mina Rashid will be the first Blue Communities project in the Middle East, creating a global set of standards for coastal development. Additionally, all products built within the Mina Rashid Project will meet the LEED Platinum or Gold environmental rating standards.

Mina Rashid will include Dubai’s most exclusive retail strip, Dubai’s largest cruise ship terminal and house the refurbished QE 2 as a floating hotel.
