Al Mamzar Island is a mix-use real estate development of approximately 90 hectares conceptualized as a tourism lifestyle Island as part of the Palm Deira Masterplan of Dubai. The product consists of a landmass about 1.8km long and 400m wide, creating a circumference of the Island at 5km with 550 apartments (G + 10) and 1000 villas (2-3 story), waterfront villas, two marinas (100 berths), marina and beachfront villages, green corridor linkages and two community hubs.
The Al Mamzar Master Plan has been designed based on the New Urbanism design principles to function as a self-contained integrated urban hub. In addition, the Al Mamzer Project includes numerous sustainability-based initiatives intended to reduce overall water and energy consumption, including harvesting water, water-sensitive design and management, water efficiency design, energy generation (solar and wind), integrated transport networks, business clusters, LEED Silver design standards to all development and creation of a walkable community.
